35. Ann Boyce was born in 1820 in Wichenford Worcestershire. She appeared in the census in 1841 in Peg House Lane Cottage, Doddenham, Wichenford. She lived in Munns Green Doddenham Worcestershire between 1849 and 1851. She appeared in the census in 1851 in Powells row St Johns. She was working as a nurse for James Harris and his wife Mary, possibly as a nurse for their 1 month old daughter Mary. Her occupation is also stated as being a glover. Her status is shown to be married. While she was living with them her 2 year old daughter Mary Ann was living with her parents Thomas and Mary
She lived in Broadwas Worcestershire in 1855. She appeared in the census in 1861 in Regents row St Johns. in this 1861 census Ann is shown to unmarried living as a gloveress with her pauper father Thomas and her children Louisa, Mary Ann, William and Jessie (Sarah) She appeared in the census in 1871 in Sidbury St Peters Worcester. In the 1871 Census Ann is now shown to be widowed, working as a nurse living with Henry and Elizabeth Gibbs and their 4 month old daughter Florence She appeared in the census in 1881 in Mile end Cottage St Johns Worcester. In this 1881 census Ann is still shown to be a nurse and living with her daughter Sarah who is a dressmaker, and a lodger Samuel Etheridge, whose occupation is shown to be gardener. She lived in 75 Bransford road in 1891. with her daughter Sarah (Jessie) and her husband and family She appeared in the census in 1901 in 67 Bransford Road St Johns. She is living with her daughter 'Jessie' Short and her husband and family. Described as a 'widow' even though she never appears to have married, she certainly never changed her surname! She died ?. All Ann's children have been born with only Ann registering them when Christened, at no time on any census or otherwise is there a sign of a father for them.

77	i.	Louisa Boyce was born in 1844 in Wichenford Worcestershire. She was christened on 12 May 1844 in Wichenford Worcestershire.1 Original baptism record shows Louisa to be the child of only Ann Boyce. All following siblings were registered as 'base born' She died in Mar 1862 in Worcester.
