Elizabeth (Lollie) Taylor and Arthur Hughes were married about 1954 in Australia. Elizabeth known as Lollie, was quite a character marrying Arthur Hughes in her 70's. She was an Anglican nun, but left the order and became a matron of a Bush Hospital for unmarried mothers in Australia after she fell in love with one of the Anglican priests, who in fact married some one else, on the death of his wife she came to England in the 1950's to look him up again, I think with the hope that he might marry her, but was "seen off" by his daughter. On returning to Australia she nursed and married Arthur and lived in the area of Hervey Bay for the rest of her life, I think they were married for about 2 years after which he died. Quite a sad life in a way. Arthur Hughes⁹ was born about 1883 in unknown. He died ? in Australia.
