He married Anna (Hannah) Bailey (Bayley) in Arundel, York, ME, 1738.⁽⁴³⁸⁾ Anna Baley, according to Mr. Bradbury's History of Kennebunkport, in which case she was prob a gr-dtr, not a dtr, of Joseph Bayley.

Anna was born 5 Jun 1717 in Newbury, Essex, MA.⁽⁴³⁹⁾ Anna was the daughter of Deacon John Bailey (Bayley) and Sarah Butler. Anna died aft 1786 in Arundel, York, ME.⁽⁴⁴⁰⁾

He served in Col. John Storer's Co in the Louisburg Expedition (NEHGS Register 22:116). He also served from 8 Jun 1761 to 11 Jan 1762 in Capt Simon Jeffrey's Co, (MA Archives Muster Rolls 99/135). Abstract from MMF by W.G. Davis, 2:417-418:

4. JOSHUA(4) LASSELL (Joshua(3), Joshua(2), John(1)) was born in York August 5, 1711. He married Anna _____ (Anna Bayley, according to Mr. Bradbury's "History of Kennebunkport," in which case she was probably a granddaughter, not a daughter, of Joseph Bayley). In 1745 he served in Col. John Storer's company in the Louisburg expedition. On his return to Arundel he operated a sawmill, presumably the Storer-Brown double mill, in which he sold a share to Nathaniel Sparhawk in 1763. He bought and sold much Arundel property between the years 1742 and 1764, including a lot inherited from his uncle Matthew Brown, the deeds being too numerous to quote in detail.

A deed to Josiah Hutchins, signed by Joshua and Anna Lassell, dated March 27, 1764, is the last record found of Lassell. It is probable that Anna Lassell who married Moses Stephens on January 23, 1771, in Arundel was his widow. Anna Stephens was appointed administratrix of the estate of Moses Stephens on August 16, 1775, Ebenezer Coburn (husband of her daughter Mary Lassell) and Charles Smith (father-in-law of her daughter Elizabeth Lassell) being her sureties. She probably survived until 1786 when Coburn administered the estate of his father-in-law Joshua Lassell, late of Arundel, yeoman, Nathaniel Counsins (husband of Catherine Lassell) being his surety (York Probate, No. 11193).

She resided in Scarborough, Cumberland, ME.⁽⁴⁴⁵⁾

202 ii. Miriam Lassell (#11019) was born in Arundel, York, ME.⁽⁴⁴⁶⁾ She married Moses Bridges 13 Jan 1785.⁽⁴⁴⁷⁾ (Moses Bridges is #11020.) Moses was born in of Coxhall, ME.⁽⁴⁴⁸⁾

205 v. Elizabeth Lassell (#10194) was born in York Co, ME c1739.⁽⁴⁵²⁾ She married William Smith.⁽⁴⁵³⁾ as his 1st wife (William Smith is #10195.)

William was born 9 Feb 1740 in Kittery, York, ME.⁽⁴⁵⁴⁾ William was the son of Charles Smith and Rebecca Haley. He resided in Arundel, York, ME 1764.⁽⁴⁵⁵⁾
