He married Hannah Berry in Scarborough, Cumberland, ME, c1770.⁽²²⁰⁴⁾ (Hannah Berry is #41338.) Hannah was born c1750.⁽²²⁰⁵⁾ Hannah was the daughter of Jonathan Berry and Relief Nason. Hannah died c1803 in Shapleigh, York, ME, at 53 years of age.⁽²²⁰⁶⁾ Libby No. 10-2-1-2

Abstract from The Libby Family by C.T. Libby, 1:155: 10-2-1-2 THEOPHILUS LIBBY, born in Scarborough, 15 April 1749; married HANNAH BERRY, daughter of Jonathan and Relief (Nason) Berry. He settled on land given him by his father, then in Scarborough, now in Gorham. He cleared a farm and built his house on the site of the one now occupied by the widow of Levi Libby, 10-2-1-2-3-8. He died 10 Nov. 1822. His wife died about 1803. Children, all born in Scarborough:

1 Samuel, died at home, a young man. 2 Jonathan, b. Feb. 1774; m. Lydia Larrabee. 3 Ephraim, b. 28 Jan. 1781; m. Ruth Lord. 4 Relief, married Moses Smith. 5 Dorcas, m. 4 Feb. 1802, Samuel Brown. 6 Theophilus, m. Patty Sprague. 7 Elizabeth, b. 1785; m. Josiah Larrabee. 8 Sarah, b. Oct. 1788; m. Elder Seth Norton. 9 Richard H., b. 1796; m. Jane (Clark) Baker. 10 Ruth, b. 1797; died in May 1870; unm. She lived with her brother Richard.
