Son of Arthur and Olivia Eslick, husband of Kathleen Clarice Eslick of Plymouth

Buried at Malbork Commonwealth War Cemetery, Poland

P.O. Eslick was based at Woodhall Spa in March 1942. Died in POW camp in Poland.

 

George Edgar Pascoe

Son of Mr and Mrs B G Pascoe of Mingoose house, Mingoose, Mount Hawke

Buried at Bohain Communal Cemetery, Aisne France

Sergt. Pascoe was based at Waltham near Grimsby from December 1942. 100 Squadron undertook night bombing raids with Avro Lancasters over Germany from March 1943. Seven RAF flight crew are buried together in this French cemetery, presumably shot down.

 

Alfred John Roy Pearce

Son of Richard John and Susan Pearce of Mount Hawke

Commemorated on the Plymouth Naval Memorial

Alfred Pearce was lost at sea when the Glorious, an air craft carrier, was sunk off Norway by the Scharnhorst and the Gneisenau. Her two escorts Acasta and Ardent were also lost. Of the crews 1519 were lost, 41 were saved.
