George Monroe ASHCRAFT

      George Monroe Ashcraft, 74, of 6701 Cheatham Street, died Monday night at Jefferson Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
      Mr. Ashcraft, a son of the late John Marshall and Ollie Rauls Ashcraft, was a native of Cleveland County. He lived most of his life there before moving to Pine Bluff.
      He was a vetern of World Ware I and a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosie Bell Spakes Ashcraft, to whom he was married in 1919; eight sons, Bennie Ashcraft, George Ashcraft, Thomas Ashcraft, Charles Ashcraft, M.H. Ashcraft and Lawrence Ashcraft, all of Pine Bluff, James Ashcraft of Star City and Bobby Ashcraft of Texarkana; a daughter, Mrs. J.C. Moring of Pine Bluff; a brother, Ben Thomas Ashcraft of Warren; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Rauls of Rison and Mrs. Ora Mae Brian of Warren, and 21 grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at Free Hill Baptist Church near Rison by Reverend Ebb White and Reverend Ed Monzingo. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.

Ollie ASHCRAFT

      Mrs. Ollie Ashcraft died Sunday at her home here. She was ill only a few hours. She leaves six children, as follow: Mrs. Monroe Ashcraft of Rowell, Mrs. Irene Brown and Monroe Ashcraft of this community, Ben Thomas Ashcraft of Warren, Leonard Ashcraft of Macedonia and Luke Ashcraft of this place; one sister, Mrs. Will McKinney of Macedonia and one brother, Luther Rauls.
      Interment was made in Prosperity Cemetery with funeral services conducted by the Rev. J.M. Patrick.
      The deceased was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Rosie Belle ASHCRAFT

      Mrs. Rosie Bell Spakes Ashcraft, 89, of 2805 West 25th Avenue, a homemaker, died Thursday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
      Born January 1, 1900, at Herbine (Cleveland County), she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Mary Neely Spakes.
      She was the widow of George Monroe Ashcraft.
      She was a member of Freehill Free Will Baptist Church near Rison.
      Survivors include seven sons, James Ashcraft of Star City, and M.H. Ashcraft, Bob Ashcraft, George Ashcraft, Benny Ashcraft, Thomas Ashcraft, and Charles Ashcraft, all of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Charlene Moring of Pine Bluff; 22 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. at Freehill Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Ebb White and Elbert McClellan officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery near Rison by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
      The family will be at the home of Thomas Ashcraft, 2805 West 25th.
      Pallbearers will be Bill Ashcraft, Randy Ashcraft, Steve Ashcraft, Alan Ashcraft, Doug Ashcraft, Mike Ashcraft, Lance Ashcraft, Scott Ashcraft, Dewayne Ashcraft, Keith Ashcraft, Johnny Moring and Steve Moring.
