This is my wife's line and I have very little information on her early ancestors.
I would like to correspond with anyone that is interested in this line.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GOTTLIEBSEN GENERATION 1

The earliest ancestor that we have information on is Daniel Thomas Gottliebsen. A family letter dated March 1, 1932, says, "After accumulating quite a fortune he wished to do some good, in thanks I suppose, and he established a society, to dress up poor boys for confirmation, having been a poor boy himself without any nice clothes. This society is still in existence in Copenhagen, under the name of "Tenth of October" which was his birthday in the year 1826, and on that day in the year of 1882, they presented him with this watch as a token of their Love and Respect."
- DANIEL THOMAS GOTTLIEBSEN
He was born on October 10, 1826 in Copenhagen, Denmark. His wife's name is not known, but they had, at least, one son who was born in Denmark and later came to America.

GOTTLIEBSEN GENERATION 2


The children of DANIEL THOMAS GOTTLIEBSEN

- CHARLES HEINRICH GOTTLIEBSEN
He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He married MARIE LOUISE ANDERSON. She was born in Oslo, Norway. They both died in New York City, New York. He died May 17, 1955 and she died March 1, 1931. They had, at least, six children.

He died February 11, 1909.

- HENRIETTA GOTTLIEBSEN
She was born August 20, 1888 and died August 16, 1973. She married GEORGE O. FARNSWORTH. They had issue: (1) Charles George.

- BERTHA MAE GOTTLIEBSEN
She was born August 20, 1890 and died July 12, 1973. She married GEORGE ZAMFIROPLIS. His name was Americanized to ZAMFIR. They had issue: (1) Virginia.

- DAGMAR DORTHEA GOTTLIEBSEN
She was born October 11, 1893. She married SCOTT CROMWELL. They had issue: (1) Scott, (2) Robert and (3) Roger.

- DANIEL THOMAS GOTTLIEBSEN
He was born December 20, 1894. He married OLIVE EDNA YOUNG on January 30, 1917. She was born October 23, 1893, daughter of FREDERICK WILLIAM JUNGLING and CORNELIA FRANCES DRACE. He died in Germantown, New York September 10, 1957 and she died there August 21, 1958. They had issue below.

- HELEN VICTORIA GOTTLIEBSEN
She was born May 24, 1897. She married MERLE MILLER. They had issue: (1)Elizabeth Mary and (2) Joan Helen.
