• TRAVEL WARNINGS: Aamong the letters to the editor of the Banater Post is one describing robbery of travelers on the autobahn in Southern Hungary.  Apparently this is a VERY frequent occurrence.  It often occurs at rest stops and gas stations. The editor of the Banater Post says that they have received other letters describing robbery of travelers in Hungary on the way to the Banat -- thanks to Dave Dreyer for posting this in a Banat List email.
