The purpose of this list is to identify names of people who were located in Glogowatz and subject to pay the tax. The lists for Glogowatz cover years 1770 and 1771

Note: This list is compiled from handwritten documents that are difficult to read. All attempts to transcribe the list exactly have been made. Minor corrections may be made as the documents are reviewed for accuracy.

Comments with "Name ?" are made adjacent to each name were there is too much uncertainty in transcribing the information.

There are several pages of text preceding the first list which begins on page 10 and alternates through page 22. Alternate pages (11, 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21) contain collection amounts are are not listed here.

The names referenced on pages 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 place these individuals in Glogowatz in the year 1770.

The names referenced on pages 23-28 place these individuals in Glogowatz on September 2, 1771.

The names referenced on pages 27 are split into pages 27a and 27b. The split is marked by the words, "Sequuntus inquilini dumos habenses." The Latin word"Vidua" or Widower was added to the comments where the tax record idicated this note.

Pages 29 and 30 contain text and pages 32-41 contain names that are written in a more flowing and difficult script to transcribe. Examination of these pages reveals some names are previously listed.
