| Franz Gusz lived in Kreuzstaetten, Banat.
His uniform is that of a one-year volunteer (gave service
for one year in lieu of payment). The chest decoration is a sharp-shooter award. Born 29 Feb 1857, Franz emigrated to the US with his family in 1904 after having made several prior trips to the US with his oldest son. Franz and family settled in Trenton, NJ where he died 19 Apr 1913. |
