Thomas Johnston Barclay  b. Jan . 23, 1826 Kingston,  PA (near Latrobe, PA) ,  d. Aug. 24,  1881 Kingston, PA
 He married Rebecca Kuhns b. 1832 d. 1901 on Sept. 5,  1854 at Christ Episcopal Church in Greensburg, PA., and had 10 children.
He was a veteran of the Mexican American War.
He is buried in the new St. Clair Cemetery in Greensburg, PA.
 His parents were:

John Young Barclay and Isabella Johnston (sister of  William Freame Johnston, Gov. of Pa. under Martin Van Buren).

His grandparents were:

Col. Hugh Barclay of Bedford,  PA who served in the Revolutionary War (b. July 13, 1747 d. Nov. 24 1807) married Hetty Fulton
