SIR KNIGHT WILLIAM GARRETT
There are numerous sites on the internet that contain information about the Sir Knight William Garrett clan. They don't all agree which means that even if we do find a missing link connecting Saline County, Arkansas Spillsbury Garrett to Sir Knight William , we will still have to document each generation. Below is a summary of some of this information. There are MANY branches in Sir William's tree which have not been researched and we could fit in any one of them. Of the Sir William lines which have been researched, the following seems to most closely resemble the migration pattern and given names of Saline County Spillsbury Garrett's family.

I have reviewed all the families of the sons of William B. except for James. The other sons don't appear to be the ancestor of Spillsbury of Saline Co., Arkansas. All I've been able to discover about the family of James is that he married Nancy Brown and had at least one son, Robert, who lived in Arkansas for a while, then moved to Texas some time after the 1850 census. I don't know where in Texas he was reported to have moved. There were Roberts living in Bastrup Co. and Johnson Counties, Texas. The son of James and Nancy was said to have had five children. On the chart below, notice that Reuben Garrett died in Bastrop Co., TX. Bastrop sounds like a good place to investigate.
I'm not sure where in Tennessee Robert's parents settled although I'm currently working on that one. I have found no siblings listed for him on any web page and I have been searching for months. If any one can come up with information on James and Nancy Brown of VA/TN, I'd very much appreciate it.
