He From Savage: "Scituate, with his w. under let. of dism. from ch. in London, join. this 16 Sept. 1638, rem. to Barnstable next yr" in 1638.⁶¹ He " NOTE 5. MR. ROBERT LINNEL.1 came to America and settled in Scituate, Mass., 1638; removed to Barnstable, 1639; He was prob, a brother-in-law to Rev. John Lothrope; and perhaps related to others of the early Barnstable families; he was member of Mr. Lothrop's church in London. Eng. Prob. m. twice; 2d wife named Jemima. He d. Feb. 27, 1662; will dated Jan. 23, 1692-3; proved Mar. 12, 1662-3; his wife survived him.
