Wesley (sic) Peterson, of St. Johns died January 24th, of heart trouble, 
aged 89 years.  He was found dead in bed.  He had been a mason over 60 years,
and was buried with Masonic rites, at his late home, Sunday.

Westley Peterson was born in New Jersey in 1807.  When seven years old 
his parents moved to Virginia, in 1830 they moved to Ohio.  He was married 
to Sally McDonough October 27, 1831.  They moved to Michigan in 1869.  
He has been a member of the Disciple church for over 40 years.  He was the 
father of nine children.  He leaves an aged wife, four sons and one daughter.
