I would guess 150-200 people were present, but I'm not really good at that sort of thing. At least two TV stations showed up - Ch. 6 and Ch. 10. Channel 6 was there early setting up and interviewing people. Channel 10 showed up after the event began, and the photographer was very obtrusive and pushy. He was all over in front of people, in plain sight behind the speakers, crawling around in front of them to take ground level pictures up at them, etc. He was quite irritating. The channel 6 people were very discrete and well mannered. I told them after the event how much the local citizens appreciated the way in which they handled the situation and filmed from a discrete location. My sister Mary didn't even notice that they were there during the ceremony itself. [...] During the luncheon after everything else settled down, we found out that there was a member of the class of 1927 present. She was 94 today, which means that the school was blown up on her birthday. I doubt if she's ever really enjoyed a birthday since. She seems to be in much better shape than a lot of the younger graduates who were present and looks good for several more events if her health holds up. I would have guessed that she was in her seventies. Fortunately, the rain and hail held off until this afternoon, although it was cold and breezy during the ceremony. [...] Take Care, Ken
