FEATURES	The photographer painted a gold ring on the little finger of the man's right hand. Because tintypes were usually mirror images of the actual scene, the ring may be on his left hand. The gold ring may not have actually existed but have just been the photographer's decoration. The photographer also colored the man's cheeks pink.
