THE ASHCRAFT FAMILY

Kitty ASHCRAFT was my great grandmother and Cora BUCKMAN Condit's mother. She was born Oct 31 , 1844 in Broken Co. Kentucky and died in Vancouver, Clark, WA March 31, 1911.

If the old scrapbooks and notes in bibles are correct, her parents were William E. ASHCRAFT and Rosana KEITH. We are still trying to verify this information.

If true, she comes from a colorful family. But more on this lady later.

     i. WILLIAM ELLIS ASHCRAFT, b. 1795, Mason Co KY; d. July 30, 1876.

2. WILLIAM ELLIS ASHCRAFT (EPHRAIM1) was born 1795 in Mason Co KY, and died July 30, 1876. He married ROSANA KEITH October 25, 1824. She was born in KY, and died in Claysville, KY - Duncan Cemetery.

3. KITTY ASHCRAFT (WILLIAM ELLIS2, EPHRAIM1) was born October 31, 1844 in Brocken Co, Kentucky, and died March 31, 1911 in Vancouver, WA. She married THEODORE BUCKMAN January 07, 1868 in Marshall CO. Indiana, son of ABRAHAM BUCKMAN and LYDIA HOLLOWAY. He was born January 21, 1845 in Indiana, and died May 04, 1914 in Seattle, WA.
