American Journal Of Human Genetics - Electronic editions are freely available to anyone, beginning with Volume 61 in 1997, on up to issues published six months prior to the current date. More recent issues require a subscription.

CASA Surname Profiler - Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (associated with University College London) offers this remarkable tool for mapping relative population densities in Great Britain by a given surname. The data used for this program is taken from either the 1881 or 1998 census.

Clan Bell International - A charitable nonprofit organization of Scottish descendants and friends of Family/Clan Bell dedicated to the study of Bell genealogy and Scottish history and the perpetuation of family tradition.

DNA Forums - An organization dedicated to the free exchange of information and discussion between genetic professionals and amateurs alike.

DNA 101 - Part of the Blair DNA Project. This article serves as a good starting point for persons new to DNA testing.

Honoring Our Ancestors - Author Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak has teamed up with Ann Turner on a new book, "Trace Your Roots With DNA". Scottish Clans DNA Project - A DNA genealogy project focusing on Y-DNA results from participants with Scottish ancestries. They maintain a Y-DNA database, a mailing list, and a private website for their members.

Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation - A nonprofit organization that was founded to build a correlated genetic and genealogical database. The foundation accepts DNA samples with genealogy data, but will not report test results to the contributors. A searchable online database is available, but the foundation does not allow submissions from other testing agencies.
