As we remember Scruffy dear-
These are things we hold dear-
Little paws tippidy-tapping,
Soft sounds of quiet napping,
His swishing tail joyfully wagging,
A bark, a whine, a scratch of his feet-
Not having to beg for even a treat.
His heart so giving, his loyalty true-
Scruffy dear, we will always love you.

 This was Scruffy when he was 8 years old. Steve broke him out of doggie jail when he was 1 1/2. Scruffy was taken to heaven on Aug.7, 2001
