Emma Caroline McDannald Kralman
John and Margaret McDannald's daughter Emma was born on November 12,
1855 in Mt. Sterling, Brown Co., Illinois. She traveled with her
family by wagon train from Illinois to Oregon, in 1865, at the age of 10.
Emma married Joseph Kralman on September 5, 1886 in Umatilla County,
Oregon, at the age of 31. Emma and Joseph had two children.
She was the longest living of all the John and Margaret McDannald children.
She died on February 21,1939 in Milton-Freewater, Oregon at the age of 84
in Walla Walla, Washington.
She was buried in Valley Cemetery, Milton-Freewater.
