• World War I draft registration card shows Charles Harrison Bedwell, born 16 Apr 1890 in Coulterville, Tennessee. He is employed by the Durham Coal & Iron Co. in Grayville, Tennessee. He is married with two children, and is described as short and stout with brown eyes and black hair.

• 1930 Census for District 4, Rhea County, Tennessee, taken Apr 1930, shows Charlie H. Bedwell, age 40, a coal miner, as head of household containing: wife Mary, 38; daughter Lora M., 17; son Frank C., 10; son Floyd E., 8; son Walter E., 5; and son William J., 2 and 8/12.

Charles Harrison Bedwell and Lilly Mae Jerkins were married in 1908.⁶¹⁴ Lilly Mae Jerkins⁶¹⁴ (daughter of Ed Jerkins and Josephine Wood) was born in Jan 1891 in Tennessee.^614,1250 Family group sheet and death certificate info conflict. She died of tuberculosis on 1 Jul 1930 in Dayton, Rhea County, Tennessee.¹²⁵⁰ She was buried in Lone Mountain Cemetery, Graysville, Rhea County, Tennessee.¹²⁵⁰

Most sources say her maiden name was Jerkins, but it says Jenkins on her death certificate (information given by husband Charles Bedwell).
