shows up in the 1783 tax list for St. Murderkill Hundred in Kent County, Delaware.
It states that George Bedwell owes 2 (dollars, schillings?). This shows that
he did not own much property and may have not have even owned his home. George
Bedwell has at least two children: George Bedwell Jr. (and) Daniel Bedwell. George
Bedwell last appears in the 1816 tax assessment for Little Creek Hundred in Kent
Count, Delaware. It states that George Bedwell owes $1.74."
