Very little  is know about Jacob Bennett.  He did not migrate to Canada as his siblings, Aquilla, Jesse, John & Hannah did.  Family stories passed down claim that he moved to Iowa from Pennsylvania, and owned a large amount of land.  This would have been prior to 1809.
