John Thomas

In-Law of Samuel Nesbit

John Thomas, the father of Nancy N. Thomas, was born on an unknown date at an unknown place. Very little primary source records have been found for him and no trace has yet been discovered for his wife, who is completely shrouded in the mists of history at the present time. About the only certain thing that can be said about either of them is that they most likely passed away in Harrison County, Kentucky before 1820.

Analysis of the Timeline

Due to the fact that very little data has been acquired for John Thomas, only the most sketchy outline can be used to describe his life. As far as the currently available data is concerned, he first appears in the 1810 census in Harrison County, Kentucky with his wife, daughter and several other children. The only other reference is when he consented to the marriage of his daughter several years later.
