Klump & Bertran Family Reunion Information for 2005

The family reunion is planned for June 11th and 12th 2005, the 2nd weekend of June. We are trying to miss Memorial weekend and Father’s Day to eliminate conflicts. The reunion will be held in the Hawley Bed and Breakfast, where it was held last year.  We will have plenty of room to visit and eat out of the weather. We have been working on the house and a tremendous amount has been done since last year.  There is a kitchen, 2 stoves and 2 refrigerators, 2 living rooms and a few bedrooms.

The raffle at the 2004 reunion was won by Leeza Moyer.  The hand made twin size quilt with material for curtains was donated by Betty Sanford, Roberta and Kelly Davis.  The embroidered pillow cases donated by Enid Hartford were won by Max and June Richie.

This year’s raffle will be an afghan in red, white and blue crocheted and donated by Betty Sanford and a quilt created and donated by Georgina Miles.  They both are beautiful.  Raffle tickets again this year will be $1 each or 6 for $5.

Georgina Miles and Sandy Wyngaard both are working on a queen size quilt for 2006. The quilt blocks will be at the family reunion. People will be able to sign them or put family names on them. Then Georgina and Sandy will create the blocks, put the quilt together and have it machine quilted. It will be the 2006 raffle. The last 2 years raffles worked out really well.  We appreciate everyone who bought tickets. Last year we used the money to send out the notices in April and to buy the meat and other food for our big meal.  This makes it more enjoyable for people traveling to not worry about what to bring.  Thank you everyone!
