line 7Xgreat grandfather was born in the ''ancestral home''
on 11 Jul 1723..................pretty neat, huh?
His name was Johann Philip KLINGER
b. 11 Jul 1723 in PfaffenBeerfurth, Odenwald, Pfalz, Germany
d. 30 Sep 1811 in Klingerstown, Dauphin, PA
The town named in honor of his brother Alexander KLINGER.
Arrived in this country aboard the ship ''NEPTUNE'' at the port
of Philadelphia on 24 Sep 1751.
Revolutionary War Veteran, having served with the Berks County
Militia, 2nd Company, 4th Battalion, PA Militia.
