Introduction à la généalogie Huguenin - Baldou

INTRODUCTION

These pages relate the past and present history of the French family of Bernard Huguenin and Jacqueline Baldou, as well as that of their relatives and other families of the same lineage. At the beginning, this document was intended only for familial use. Therefore some details are private and some of them could be hidden.

The historical and genealogical data used for writing these pages come from different origins:

Introducing the families

The different families here described are variously related. Some of them are tightly linked, by marriages, and some others, in the contrary, are loosely related, as a consequence of familial histories, or even merely of History.

So, you could find, from the couple Bernard Huguenin - Jacqueline Baldou, the history and the description of the following families:

1 – ancestry and descendants of Bernard Huguenin, therefore the families Huguenin, Revel, Pages and parent families, specially the Laquiere family.

2 – ancestry of Jacqueline Baldou, so the families Baldou, Denis de Lagarde, Richard, Le Yaouanc, Nicolas and their parents, the Boal and the Denis de Keredern de Trobriand.

3 – the de Beauharnais family, owing to his presumed links with the Denis de Lagarde and Denis de Keredern de Trobriand families.

The direct lines are summarized in the following graph :

Les lignées des familles Baldou & Huguenin

To these direct lines, we must add the links with several others families:

- for the Huguenin, the LAQUIERE family, on the mother's side,

- for the Baldou, the families DENIS de KEREDERN de TROBRIAND, DENIS de LAGARDE, BOAL and de BEAUHARNAIS, on the father's side, the NICOLAS family, on the mother's side.

Notice : a part of these pages has been translated into English but a number of other are still in french language, particularly the biographical notices, and some of them are not available. I apologize to the reader for that and I shall do all my efforts to achieve this translation, even in my "french-tinted" english.
