Jasper attended school at Borden Springs, Alabama
and went to higher grades at Cedartown, Alabama.
He then attended
Jacksonville Teacher's Normal (?) School (now University)
to be a teacher.
Jasper was a "wonderful" musician and played a variety of
instruments including a trombone in the school band.   It is
     believed he could not read sheet music and played
music by ear.

     Some other remarks:

     He loved his family and children.
     He loved alligators.

     He was a moon shiner
        He married Christine Inez Cook

who was a maid in the Lorren
household.
