Jesse Evans was born 18 Jan 1807, Goshen Hill,
Union Co., SC; he was the son of Perry Evans and Deborah SELBY. He
married Caroline Anderson in 1832.
Jesse died 19 March 1884 in Goshen, Cherokee Co., Alabama as a result
of injuries he received during the Goshen Cyclone that
hit Goshen 19 Feb. 1884.
