BALDWIN	James (Jnr)	Blacksmith	1816: James Baldwin (Jnr), blacksmith apprentice. Born about 1816 in Syresham, Northamptonshire, England. The 1841 UK census lists James as 25yrs, living in Syresham with his father James (Snr) a blacksmith. Hannah Baldwin 30yrs (born 1811 Syresham). John Bull 10yrs.
BALDWIN	James (Snr)	Blacksmith	1771: James Baldwin (Snr), blacksmith apprentice. Born about 1771 in Syresham, Northamptonshire, England. The 1841 UK census lists James as 70yrs, living in Syresham with his son James (born 1816 blacksmith); Hannah Baldwin 30yrs; John Bull 10yrs.
BAZELEY	Estell	Blacksmith	1863: Estell Bazeley, blacksmith. Born about 1863 in Towcester, Northampton, England and died June quarter 1837 Northampton. Details seen at familyserch.org. Wife Elizabeth nee Page born about 1866 in Northampton. Estell and Elizabeth married December quarter 1889 in Northampton. Vol: 3b Page 153. Children: Christopher; Elsie; Arthur; and others. BLUNSON	John	Blacksmith	1715: John BLunson,blacksmith. Born about 1715 in Finedon, Northamptonshire, England. John was blacksmith. On the opposite side of Regent Street, fronting Stocks Hill, was an old house and smithy, owned in 1739 by John Blunsom and in 1806 by James Blunsom. By 1816 it had come into the ownership of the Girls Charity School Trustees and Robert Hseldine was the tenant blacksmithfrom book on Finedon. The accounts of the Finedon overseers show the following expenditure in relation to lunatics and the mentally ill: 21 Oct 1721 Gave John Blomsom for on locking of Judahs lock 2d., For 2 pieces of wood to stake Judah 6d., For going to Isham to Look Judah & Spent 1s 0d. from book on Finedon. BUSWELL	Richard	Blacksmith	1790: Richard Buswell, blacksmith. Born 23 October 1790 ,Market Harborough, Northamptonshire, England. Baptised 1st Nov 1790, Market Harborough. Independent, married in Market Harborough 6th November 1817 to Elizabeth Bromwich (born circa 1799 Burton Latimer, died 22 Sep 1840 at Desborough age 41). He was a blacksmith initially at Market Harborough but later at Desborough where he was living with his surviving children in 1841 and where he died 2 Apr 1857. Contact David by
EDWARDS	William Anthony	Blacksmith	1844: William (Anthony) Edwards, master blacksmith. Born 1844 in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. His father was a blacksmith too I think. (Could be Hensington, Bladon but not sure. Think this was a workhouse?). No more knowledge until found him in Nottingham in 1882 where he married Matilda Barton. He then lived in Kettering Northants (1891 and 1901 census) still working as blacksmith. Died Kettering 14 December 1911. Listed in Blacksmiths of Oxfordshire; Nottinghamshire; Northamptonshire. ENGLAND	Peter	Blacksmith	1750: Peter England, blacksmith,in Northamptonshire, England. England family Blacksmiths From 1750 to 1890 at Overstone Northamptonshire at least 5 generations. Contact John by
HINES	John	Blacksmith, Coachbuilder	1839: John Hines, blacksmith, coachsmith. Born in Weston Favel, Northamptonshire in 1839. Wife: Elizabeth Smith, married in Caldecot, Rutland 1869. The marriage certificate states he was a Coachmaker. He then moved to Market Harborough and moved to Birmingham, Warwickshire. On his sons bith certificate in 1873 it states he was a coachsmith. The 1901 Census states he was a Blacksmith living at Hanover street in Birmingham. He died on he 18 November 1908 age 69 years as a Coachsmith Journeyman at 38 Bell Barn road in Birmingham. LANGDALE	Jonathon	Blacksmith	1640: Jonathon Langdale, blacksmith. Born 1640, Hardwick, Northamptonshire, England and baptised there on the 7th of March 1640 and is thought to be the son of a Blacksmith. Jonathon married Elizabeth Lilly in Ecton, Northamptonshire in 1669 and set himself up in Ecton as the village Blacksmith. His son Thomas 1674-1744 carried on in Ecton as Blacksmith and this was followed by William 1700-1746 son of Thomas, and then Jonathon 1732-1800 son of William. Jonathon’s own son Frances became a Cordwainer and the family line of Blacksmiths in Ecton was ended. During this time the family surname evolved from Langdale to Langdell. MASON	Ferdinando	Blacksmith	1643: Fernando Mason, blacksmith. Born about 1643, at Exton, Rutland, England. He settled in Gretton, Northamptonshire, circa 1678. He and his wife Elizabeth had seven children baptized at Gretton between 1676 and 1683: In 1688 and 1690 two of his children, for whom I have not found baptisms, were buried at Gretton. Ferdinando was buried at Gretton in 1708 and Elizabeth also was buried there in 1711. The Gretton Register does not give Ferdinando's occupation but in 1685 he made a witness statement, where he was described as Ferdinando Mason, Blacksmith, of Gretton, Northants, for 17 yrs, aged 42yrs and originally from Exton, Rutland. TEMPLAR (TEMPLER)	Jacob	Blacksmith	1805: Jacob Templar, blacksmith. Born 1805 at Laxton, Northamptonshire. Parents: Charles Templar and Elizabeth Elliot). In 1829 he married Ann Scott at Gretton, where he was settled and where their five children were baptized. The youngest child, who only lived a few weeks, was baptized in 1837 shortly before Ann Scott's death. In 1856 Jacob married Elizabeth Bailey Bradshaw who was about 27 years younger than him and a further four children were baptized at Gretton, the youngest being born a week after Jacob's death on 30 Dec. 1860. TEMPLER	Charles	Blacksmith	1829: Charles Templer, blacksmith. Born 1829 at Gretton, Northamptonshire, England. Father: Jacob Templer(a Blacksmith). 1853: Charles married Hannah Tee and they had five children. Charles and Hannah stayed in Gretton until 1855. From 1856 to 1858 they were in Caldecot, Rutland and by 1860 they had moved to Great Easton, Leicestershire, where they spent the rest of their lives. Charles and Hannah both died in 1892. WYLES	Thomas	Blacksmith	1786: Thomas Wyles, blacksmith. Born 1786, Duddington, Northamptonshire, England. Thomas married Elizabeth nee Alderman. Their son Robert Wyles was a blacksmiths in the village of Duddington in the early to mid 1800's. Prior to this the Wyles family of Duddington were prominent Landowners throughout the 1700's, and throughout the 1600's were Lawyers, and one Robert Wyles was Trustee to the second Earl of Burghley.
