Will of Ann SHEAVYN, Willington, Derbyshire: 1814

Probate granted 4th August 1819, London

I Ann SHEAVYN of Willington in the County of Derby Spinster upon the ? thoughts of death and hoping through the mercy of Jesus Christ to have forgiveness of my sins and life everlasting do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following: that is to say

In the first place I give and bequeath to Miss Frances BURDETT of Willington aforesaid the sum of Fifty Pounds; I give and bequeath to my sister Mary WEBSTER the sum of Ten Pounds and to my Nephews and Nieces , Samuel BEADSMORE, Robert GOADBY, Samuel WEBSTER, Austin WEBSTER, Elizabeth BUTLIN, Ann WHITE and Mary PAINE the sum of five pounds apiece, and to my friend Thomas RILEY of Willington aforesaid, servant to Miss BURDETT the sum of five Guineas, all which said several legacies I direct shall be paid within twelve months after my decease.

And I also bequeath all my cloaths (sic) and wearing apparel and all the rest residue and remainder of my money and securities for money and of all other the Personal Estate effects and property whatsoever which I shall happen to die possessed of and any of the above legacies which may happen to become lapsed if such ?? shall be subject to the payment of all my just debts, funeral expenses and the charges of proving this my will unto my niece Ann RILEY for her own use and benefit absolutely and so hereby nominate and appoint my said niece Ann RILEY sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.

I hereby revoke all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made. In Testimony whereof I the said Testatrix to this my last Will and Testament have set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourteen

Proved at London 4 August 1819 before the Judge by the Oath of Ann RILEY (wife of Thomas RILEY) the Niece and Sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted having been first sworn permission duly to Administer
