This family was active in the General Baptist Church and records for the births of Elizabeth and Job BURDETT's children - along with Job's burial - were presumably recorded in Cauldwell General Baptist registers, which have not survived. Similarly, the records for Elizabeth's own burial, and that of her second husband, Thomas WEBSTER, would have been recorded in the General Baptist registers of Barton in the Beans (Barton in Fabis), Leicestershire. Again, these records have not survived.
Information about Elizabeth's children has been found from Thomas WEBSTER's will, from 1841 & 1851 census returns, from the parish registers of Market Bosworth and Shackerstone, Leicestershire, and, where available, from GRO certificates. It helps that Sarah BURDETT married her first cousin, George NORTON.
