In the name of God Amen I Richard Straight of the parish of St Allen in the County of Cornwall being of perfect memory but sick in body do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following That is to say first I commend my soul into the hands of my Creator god Almighty beseeching him for the merritts of his dear son Jesus Christ my Redeemer to [preserve this same?] death in life and death by the [assistance?] and comfort of his Holy Spirit my Comforter and after my life to [preserve this same?] in the blessed society of his Saints for ever as [Almighty?] faithful Creator according to his word. And my body to be buried in Christian manner and at the good pleasure of the most Holy Trinity my Creator Redeemer and Comforter to be raised and united to my living soul and to remain with him for ever Amen
