I am a decendant of #55 Eilhue P. Blanton, he was my Great Grandfather, my Grandfather was #137, Jerome Blanton, My mother was not listed. I would like to send you more information that I have in my records. I have to look these up before I can send them, therefore it will take a bit of time. But I guess these folks have waited for many generations to hear about my "little" group. Our youngest son, Alan David, age 48, died in Arlington, TX in 1999 of Head and Neck Cancer. We spent a lot ot time in the area. While he was still able to get around he drove me to Buel Cemetery where Eilhue and Sarah are and many more of my folks, including my mother. This is some of the things I'll send if you are interested.

I am the senior member of my family with only three known cousins. I was born in Ft. Worth in 1927.

I would be happy to hear from you should you have the time.

I think your web page is wonderful and I want to share the info with my cousin, Sally Blanton Thomas, our only boy cousin died about a year ago, he was Paul Jerome Blanton, named for his Grandfather.

Haven't gotten very far on our Blanton roots. The earliest that I can find is William Blanton, the father of Mary J. Blanton who married James Walter Bradley. Mary J. Blanton was b. 1838, d. 1904. Buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Mills County, TX. Have been told that there is a Burrell Blanton in that family line. Any info would be appreciated on this line. Also understand that one of this Blanton family served as personal body guard for one of presidents. Any validity in that rumor?

He married Viola Kimberly June 21,1919 they had 12 children Louise, James, Marie, Ettie Mae, Hansle, Odell, Kimberly, Violet, Hoyt, Howard, David Wayne,and Iris. Very nice site. Am interested in finding my roots. I only know my fathers name was Fredie Darrell Blanton. He was married to my mother Velma Irene Nunn Blanton and they lived in Virginia at the time. I am looking for any information on a George Blanton, who married a Daisy Eiland early 1900. They had 4 children Aaron, Cecil, Onita Lousia, and Ralph, all born between 1908 and 1915 or so. Daisy then died in childbirth with twins (in eastern New Mexico) and George left the family. The kids were raised by Daisy's sister Cora Eiland. Onita Louisa was my grandmother.
