trying to trace our ancestors to give us a better understanding of
those who came before us. We have found a lot of leads from other
genealogist's webpages and we are sharing the information we have
hoping to help someone else and to find new "cousins."
We have searched old court records and have searched through every
cemetery in Wilkes and Stokes counties that we can find. We have
included the information we have found, and we have also included
information that we received from other researchers which we cannot
