| William Acker, the ninth of Mary and Josiah Acker's children was born on June 9, 1869 in Uniontown, Middlesex County, New Jersey.1
William was only ten years old when he died at Menlo Park, NJ, on December 18, 1879. William’s death certificate states that he had been sick for five days before his death, but it does not state the cause of death.
