Merklee by Robert F. Delaney February 2010 While I personally have no direct connection to the Merklee families, there is a relationship to that lineage through my granduncle William Montgomery Delaney. William M. "Montie" Delaney was the brother of my grandfather, Martin Cleveland Delaney, Sr. Around 1905, William M. Delaney married Florence E. Merklee, thereby establishing a link between the Delaney and Merklee family lines. I do not know at this time if the couple had children. At the moment this page is mostly a framework upon which to hang the individual stories as they develop and are posted. As information is added about members of the Merklee families, the appropriate links in the table below will be activated. When stories, documents, pictures and other items are made available on this site, I note them on my "What's New?" page for readers who wish to keep up with new information as it becomes available. Also, photographs - individual and group - can be accessed via the Photograph Index.
