Raymond O. Ziesse died on December 11, 1992, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, Vermont. He died at approximately 87 years of age from heart failure and a failing aortic valve.¹ According to the death certificate shown on this page, Raymond Orion Ziesse was born in the Bronx, NY on February 21, 1905, and his occupation was that of a cinematographer. Cremation was handled by the Pine View Crematorium in Queensbury, NY. His surviving spouse is listed as "Ruth Collins," but the informant name on the death certificate is "Mrs. Ruth Ziesse."² The funeral arrangements were handled by the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home located in Poultney, VT. Raymond Orion Ziesse was the son of Orion Kent Ziesse and Katherine (Scullion) Ziesse.
