Jane Marie DeWolfe was the daughter of Wallace DeWolfe and Catherine Considine. Wallace was the son of Alfred DeWolfe whose family came to the United States from Pondville on Isle Madame in Cape Breton, Richmond County, Nova Scotia. Her Mother, Catherine's family immegrated to the United States from Ireland.
Wallace, also known as "Blackie", was a decorated World War II US Army Veteran who fought in Europe. He was also an amateur boxer in the Heavyweight Division. I had to think twice about dating her!! He retired as a City Worker from the City of Newton, Massachusetts. Catherine was a homemaker.
