Mollie Durham Branch

Mrs. Mollie Durham Branch of R. 1, Winchester, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 1977 in the Franklin County Hospital following an extended illness. She was 74.

Mrs. Branch, a descendant of one of the Pioneer Franklin County families, was the daughter of the late James S. and Mary Taylor Durham. She was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Cecil Tucker and Rev. Doyle Johnston officiated. Burial was in Franklin Cemetery in the Broadview Community.

Survivors are one brother, Joe E. Durham of Winchester; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Marlin and Mrs. Jessie Womack, also of Winchester, Mrs. Maggie Hall of Tullahoma, Tenn.

[Transcriber Notes: Obituary found amongst my grandmother’s documents that I inherited from my father. Mollie Durham Branch’s sister was my grandmother, Jessie Velma (Durham) Bolden Womack.
