Obituary reads:

A former Franklin County native and retired carpenter, Alton Sells, died in Corcoran, Calif. on Jan. 10, after a lengthy [sic] illness. He was 78.

Services were held on Wednesday, Jan 12, at 2 p.m. in the Bledsoe Funeral Home, Corcoran. The Rev. James Smith, Church of the Nazarene, conducted.

Sells is survived by his wife, Alice Owens Sells, Corcoran; one daughter, Martha Whitworth, Corcoran; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
