Death Claims Miss Skidmore

Miss Mary Ann Skidmore of Chattanooga, a Franklin County native, died Friday in Park Ridge Hospital following a brief illness. She was 75

Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Winchester City Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Barrett officiated. Watson Funeral Home was in charge.

A legal secretary, Miss Skidmore formerly was employed by the firm of Crownover and Hickerson in Winchester. She also worked at Fuller Automobile Company and the Flood Protection District in Chattanooga.

She was born April 24, 1903 and was the daughter of the late Ross Skidmore and Sarah Ellen Hughes Skidmore.

Miss Skidmore was educated in Winchester schools, including the former Central High School and Winchester Academy.

She was a Methodist.

Survivors are a half-brother, Ross Skidmore, Jr., Many, La,; two nieces, Mrs. Theda Rowlett Stovall, Winchester, and Miss Teena Marie Skidmore, Many, and a nephew, Ross Randy Skidmore, Seattle, Wash.
