April 1, 1868 to November 19, 1943

Franklin Sherman Bolen was born on April 1^st, 1868. He died on November 19^th 1943. He married Addie Maria Full on December 27^th, 1891. Her parents were Zebedee and Hulda (Ryan) Full.  She was born September 20^th, 1869 and died January 10^th, 1939.  They are buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg WV, beside and slightly behind Amy and her husband, Clyde Yoho. Franklin and Addie had 8 children. They are as follows:

1.      Lula Leona Bolen, born 1888, died 1907 at age 19

2.      Benjamin Franklin Bolen, born October 22^nd, 1892 died in January 1949

3.      John William Bolen, born July 12^th, 1895 died March 6^th, 1978

4.      George Delmar Bolen, born March 16^th, 1897 died February 17^th, 1935

5.      Everett Monroe Bolen, born August 1^st, 1900 died March 8^th, 1967

6.      Joseph Burton Bolen, born October 7^th, 1902 died July 14^th, 1928

7.      Amy Belle Bolen, born February 20^th, 1905 died September 4^th, 1971

8.        Frances Anna Bolen, Born March 19^th, 1908

(#1)  Lula Leona Bolen, married Arnel Gillaspie, he was born in 1876 in Belmont OH. That is all we know at this time.

(#2) Benjamin Franklin Bolen, born October 22, 1892, He died in January 1949. He married Lennie Elva Gabbert on October 31, 1918. Lennie was born in 1903, and died in 1972. They had at least 8 children they are as follows:

a.       Evelyn Bolen, who married a man named Johnson

b.      Ralph Bolen, born in 1922 

c.       Violet Bolen, who married a man named Harold Giffen

d.      Elvia Bolen, who married a man named Homer Makus

e.       Willard Bolen, born May 29, 1930 

f.        Thelma Bolen,

g.       Lyle Bolen, Lyle was known as Muggsy

h.       Donavan Bolen born August 16, 1934 died February 29, 2000 in MD

(#4)  George Delmont Bolen, born March 16, 1897 died February 17, 1935, George was never married or had any children.

(#5) Everett Monroe Bolen, born August 1, 1900 died March 8, 1967, married a lady name Gay Webb.

(#7) Amy Belle Bolen, (235-07-8378) born February 20, 1905 IN Slate WV. She died September  4, 1971, in either Walker WV or Parkersburg  WV.  Amy Belle married Clyde Jacob Yoho on June 20, 1928 in Parkersburg, Wood Co WV. Clyde Jacob Yoho (235-12-7948) was born March 17, 1906  and died on November 6^th, 1975.  Their son Paul was born March 28 1944 and died May 31, 1965. Now Amy, Clyde and Paul are all buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

We know of 6 children, but we also know there were quite a few more. The 6 we know are as follows:

4.        Connie Yoho (who married a man named Francis)

5.       Clyde Yoho

6.       Corinria Yoho (this one might be the same as Connie not sure)
