Tombstone Inscriptions in the Burial Ground of the old Bushwick Church (Brooklyn, NY):

West of the last, and lying flat, is a large white marble slab:
"In memory of Jeremiah Boerum, who died on the 29th day of August, 1817, aged 27 years, 3 months and 27 days."

Standing leaning against the south fence, just west of the church, are two large white marble slabs.  The inner one reads:
"In memory of Jacob Boerum, who died on the 30 day of October, 1852 (sic this appears to be wrong), aged 82 years, 7 months and 25 days."

The outer one has:
"In memory of Adrienna Boerum, who died on the 8 day of June, 1835, aged 81 years, 8 months and 4 days."

Linda Boorom's notes:
I've not proof of who Jeremiah was (a son of Jacob above?), but this appears to be Jacob Boerum & Adrienna Remsen who married Feb. 25, 1778. I have that Jacob descends from Abraham Boerum > Carel/Charles Boerum > Jacob Willemse Boerum > Willem Jacobse van Boerum.
