BOWLES, Kenneth Peacefully, with family by his side, at the Ottawa
Hospital (Civic Campus) on September 23rd in his 82nd year. He will be
greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Loving father of Carol
Ann, Patrick (Andree Paquin), Cathy, Michael (Louise) and Susan (Brad
Sage). Cherished grandfather to Christine, Julie, Carly and John.
Survived by his sisters Iris and Rita and brother Earl. Predeceased by
his adoring wife Denise (nee Fournier), his parents Kathleen and James
and his brother Lorne. Family and friends are invited to pay their
respects at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 315
McLeod Street, on Thursday, September 29th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The
funeral mass will also be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. at St. Monica's
Roman Catholic Church, 2080 Merivale Road with a reception to follow in
the church hall. In loving memory of Ken, donations to the Hospice at
May Court, 114 Cameron Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1S 0X1

BOWLES, Arthur W. (Veteran W.W. II) Peacefully at the Broadview Nursing
Centre, Smiths Falls, on Monday, March 31, 2003, Arthur Bowles in his
85th year. Husband of the late Vera Emily (Parsons) Bowles. Loved father
of Edith (Lewis) Brewer of Cardinal, Bill (Kay) of Renfrew, Shirley
(Wally) Palmer of Smiths Falls, Diane (Mike) Wilson of Perth, and Kathy
Leal of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by daughter Susan. Also survived by 7
grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Gerry Bowles of
Smiths Falls, Mildred Lang of Berwick, and Vera Kerr of Smiths Falls.
Predeceased by brother Bill Bowles and sisters Doris Jones and Patricia
Urquhart. Sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths
Falls, on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment,
Maple Vale Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the charity of one's
choice would be appreciated. A Veteran's Service of Remembrance will be
held by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95, Smiths Falls, at the
Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
