granted us that peace. It has been a year and it is often very hard, but it is getting better because I remember the good things, good times, and I am so thankful to the good Lord for giving us almost 41 good years together. Our children gave us a 40th anniversary reception at Fort McClellan in June 1997 and he passed away on May 14, 1998, just a couple of weeks before our 41st anniversary. Sleep on sweetheart, you deserve your rest. We love you dearly with all our hearts, but God saw you growing weary and called you home to rest. I pray I too shall be so blessed and find such sweet peace and rest at last. |
