Martha Ann THOMPSON BAILEY RAMSEY Feb. 14, 1880 death
James received great pleasure from his grandchildren. Even to his last days. The more of them he could get in his room and on his bed the happier he was. Their noise was music to his ears.
Robert was killed in a car accident. He had served in the Air Force, receiving a medical discharge after 5 months. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. His pleasing personality gave him the ability to make friends easily, and he had many.
Russell was a Deacon in the First Baptist Church at the time of his death. He was devoted to his family and friends; he had a sense of humor that never failed even in times of adversity. He loved sports. He died of a heart attack while working in the field.
I wish to thank Opal, who showed interest and was a big help to me in making this record. We wish to thank Hilda and George for all their work and time spent on this family history. Signed: The James Ramsey Family
Opal and George spent many days with Aunt Susie and Uncle John. They always had Jersey cows.
On May 12, 1957, Hilda retired from the Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Co. having 20 years of service.
