He married Verna Arlene Martin Dayton, Virginia, 6/29/1962. Verna was born Dayton, Virginia 1/24/1940. Verna is the daughter of Paul Titus Martin and Ruby Louise Rohrer. At 26 years of age Verna became the mother of Brent Laverne Rodes Harrisonburg, VA, 1/20/1967.

Adin served in the military Ft. Campbell, KY and Germany, 1959-1962. At 26 years of age Adin became the father of Brent Laverne Rodes Harrisonburg, VA, 1/20/1967.
