Weather fine and very hot. Company moved to new billets about ½ mile South of the present location. Company occupied with Physical Training, Examination Stores, Cleaning of guns and parts.
2 Weather fine but slightly cooler. Company at Physical Drill. Company on Clothing and Equipment Parades. Afternoon given up to Recreational Training.
3 Weather fine and hot. Company attended Church Parades. Roman Catholic Parade at 9 a.m. and Protestant at 10 a.m. Remainder of day given up to Sports.
4 Weather fine and very hot. Company engaged in training as per attached Syllabus.
5 Weather fine and hot. Company engaged in training as per attached Syllabus.
6 Weather fine but with slight showers. Company engaged in training as per attached Syllabus. Company was bathed.
7 Weather fine with a few showers. Company engaged in training as per attached Syllabus. Company was paid.
8 Weather fine with showers. Company engaged in training as in attached Syllabus.
9 Weather fine. Company carrying out training as in attached Syllabus.
10 Weather fine but cloudy. Company at Church Parades. Roman Catholic at 9 a.m. Protestant at 11 a.m. Remainder of day devoted to sports.
11 Weather fine. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Drill, Gun Drill, Map Work and Indirect Fire.
12 Weather fine. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training, Gun Drill, Mechanism, Musketry and Map Work. All the training being completed by noon. Remainder of day to Sports.
13 Weather fine. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training and Route March in full marching order. Distance 10 miles on roads about Gouy Servins. The transport showed turn-out of 2 Limbers at Brigade Horse Show held on 28th Parade Grounds Haillicourt.
14 Weather fine. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training, Section Drill, Mechanism, Map Reading and Musketry. All Training completed by noon and the Balance of Day devoted to Recreational training. The Transport showed turnout of two limbers at Divisional Hiorse Show held at Hersin-Coupigny.
15 Weather fine and very hot. Company at training as follows. Physical Drill, Mechanism, Gun Drill and Musketry. Company was also bathed and also inoculated with the mixed serum. Lieut Gregor Edward Bain reported from the M.G. Base Depot on being reposted.
16 Weather showery. Owing to inoculation company was excused duty for the day. Majority of men proceeded to view Brigade Sports at HAILLICOURT.
17 Weather fine. Company excused parades on account of inoculations. Church Services optional.
18 Weather showery. Company at Drill as follows. Immediate Action, Musketry, Map Reading, Gas Helmet Drill and Mechanism.
19 Weather fine. Company the Drill Period on the Ranges.
20 Weather fine but cloudy. Company spent the Drill Period on the Ranges.
21 Weather showery. Company Route March. In afternoon Company was paid. Major Eastham returned from leave and assumed command.
22 Weather showery. Company was bathed. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training, Immediate Action, Company Drill and Map Work.
23 Weather fine. Company at training as follows. Physical Drill and Company Training. Company attended Divisional Horse Show at Coupigny.
24 Weather fine. Company Church Parades as follows. Roman Catholic at 9 a.m. in Gouy Servins Church. Protestant at 11 a.m. on Chateau grounds.
25 Weather showery. Company at drill with particular attention to Company Drill in readiness for inspection.
26 Weather showery with high winds. Company parade preparatory to inspection. Company inspected on Parade Ground by the G.O.C. 2nd Cdn Division.
27 Weather showery. Company at drill as follows. Immediate Action, Physical Drill, Map-Reading and Semaphore Practice.
28 Weather showery. Company at drill as follows. Physical Drill, Company Drill, Revolver Practice, Mechanism and Immediate Action.
29 Weather showery. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training, Gas Helmet Drill, Mechanism and Immediate Action.
30 Weather stormy with heavy wind. Company at Drill as follows. Physical Training, Map Reading and Lectures.
