[WILL]
In the Name of God Amen.  I James Tipper of Walton upon Trent in the County of Darby Yeoman being well and in Health and of a Sound and disposing Mind and memory Thanks be to God therefore but calling to mind the uncertain Estate of this transitory Life do Make Constitute and ordain this my last Will and Testament , hereby annulling and making Void All other Will and wills by me formerly made either by word or writing and Ratifying and Confirming this to be my Last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following.

First I Commend and my Body to be Buried in A decent and Christain Manner At the Discretion of My Executrix hereafter Mentioned and as to the Settling my Temporal and Personal Estate first I will that all my Lawful and Legal Debts be paid by my Executrix in due time after My Decease

And then I Give unto my well beloved Brother Thomas Tipper one Shilling and likewise I Give unto my three Nephews John Thomas and James Sons of my Brother Thomas Tipper one Shilling a piece and Also I Give unto My two Nephews Thomas and James Sons of my late Brother John Tipper Deceased one Shiling a piece all which Legacy I will be paid within twelve months after me Decease if Lawfully Demanded Likewise and Lastly I give unto my well Beloved Wife Elizabeth Tipper all my whole Personal Estate Quick and Bad and Cattle Bills Bonds and housholds goods and to hereby tike[?] wife make her full Executrix my Said Well Beloved Wife Tipper my last will Testament willing hereby to pay my debts Legacy's & funeral Charges in due Time after my decease.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal Twelf day of January in the Eight and Twentieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second of England Scotland France and Ireland king & tender of the faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred fifty five.
